1940’s Spitfire Brooch

1940’s Spitfire Brooch – an original fund raiser for the Spitfire Fund. The fund was subscribed to by members of the public and industry to pay for /sponsor a Spitfire. It was quite a successful scheme and some aircraft went into battle named after the sponsors.
