WW2 German Mothers Cross in Bronze. A good original item, in perfect condition good enamels on the cross and patina appropriate to age. A Party award given to mothers who had 4 to 5 children. Officially known as the “Cross of Honour of the German Mother”. This decoration was instituted on the 16 December 1938. On the reverse is the date of the institution ” 16 Dezember 1938″ and a facsimile of Hitler’s signature. Worn around the neck or often in miniature version.
